Warm-ups 8:15am, Livorna in lanes 6-10

Directions and Parking The pool address is 1098 Eagle Nest Place, Danville. From 680 North, take the El Cerro exit and turn left. Continue straight - El Cerro Road becomes Diablo Road which then becomes Blackhawk Road. Follow the road until you reach the Main Gate entrance at Blackhawk Country Club. Turn left into the visitor’s lane. Once through the gate, proceed straight on Blackhawk Drive. At the roundabout, turn left. The pool is located at the very top of the hill on the left. In addition to the main parking lot, street parking is available as well as a dirt parking lot located at the back of the main lot. Please do not park in any reserved spaces (reserved spaces will be clearly marked).

Pool Layout There will be designated areas for each team to set up tents. Livorna and Scottsdale families shall set up directly behind the timing tents and behind the computer desk / starter area. Livorna and Scottsdale set up begins at 7:30 am.

Awards We will provide ribbons for every heat with the exception of 13/14 and up. Touchpads HOX will be using touchpads at our upcoming meet. In order to prepare your swimmers for the use of touchpads, please inform your coaches to allow them adequate preparation.

Meet Format All 6&U and 7/8s swim 25 yards. All other age groups will swim 50 yards, except 15/18s will swim 100 yard races unless the coaches have a prior agreement. Warm-Up Area The small area in the shallow end of the pool is for warm-up and warm-down for swimmers age 13 & up only. 

Please note: outside food and beverages aren’t allowed. Exceptions to this are drinks and snacks for the swimmers.

We will have a snack bar serving breakfast and lunch open down by the baby pool starting around 7:30 am. We will then have the HOX net bar and grill open by the bocce courts starting around 10:45-11:00. The HOX Nest has a full bar and lunch menu.

The Rancho neighbors have asked that visitors park in the parking lot or on the streets of Rohrer and Silverado Drive. There is no parking on Rohrer right next to the pool since it blocks the neighbors and limits emergency vehicle access. Please ask all families to park in legal parking spaces and not to block driveways in the neighborhood. Please observe the coned off areas and designated catering parking in our parking lot. 

Our Cafe will be open and run by Pancoast Pizza. Credit cards and Venmo accepted.

Warm ups: 8am
TEAM AREA: Visiting teams will be on the grassy hill above the pool area near the picnic benches. Please note that the playground is closed and off limits. 

POOL NOTES: We will plan on starting all individual events for 9/10 and over as fly-over starts, except for backstroke. Due to the water depth at the shallow end of the pool, diving starts are not allowed for safety reasons. In the water starts will be used for the second and fourth swimmers in the 6U, and 7/8 relays. We ask that swimmers stay out of the starting area until the long whistle for their heat. Visitors enter the starting area from the lane 6 side of the pool.

MEET RESULT TRACKING: We support Swimtopia at FHST. The free version is all you need. 

SNACK SHACK: We will have great food available for swimmers and families to enjoy. We accept cash and Venmo.

LOCATION OF POOL: Our pool is located at 375 Lindsey Drive, Martinez. Lindsey Drive is off of Alhambra Avenue and is a dead-end street at the pool. There is no visitor parking in our pool parking lot, please park on Lindsey Dr. or any of the streets off Lindsey. Please respect our neighbors’ driveways, including the fire road gate off the cul-de-sac adjacent to the pool entrance. A wagon/cart may be helpful to transport gear from your car to the pool, as it is up a small hill.
