Meet Theme: Tie Dye! (Wear last year’s DCSL shirts, a tie-dyed team shirt, or any Tie Dyed items that you have!)

Home meet reminders:

• Layout of the pool deck: home side is near the entrance and the parking lot, away side is near the baby pool and Head Desk
• Behind the blocks is for 15-18 swimmers, coaches and shepherds only, no parents. (If your swimmer cannot get to the blocks themselves (i.e. younger swimmers) please drop them off and then leave the area right after.) Please remember, parents are responsible for getting their swimmers to the blocks before their races!
• To be respectful to the HOA please do not set up personal tents until 6:30pm or later on Friday nights and 3pm on Wednesdays.
• The Baby Pool is always closed and off-limits during meets.
• No throwing/catching balls on the pool deck during meets (the pool deck is very crowded, and we don't want anyone to get hurt!)
• No unsupervised kids in the parking lot please (again, we don't want anyone to get hurt!)

Where/When Can I set Up my Chairs/Tents at Home Meets?

• There are bleachers under the cabana nearest to the blocks -- these are meant for spectators who are watching active races. Please feel free to use the bleachers to watch your swimmer race, and then exit the bleachers after that race so that someone else may watch their child's race. Please do not set up any chairs or tents that would block the walkway into these bleachers.
• Both sides of the second cabana (nearest the snack shack) is reserved for VIP seating -- this seating was purchased during our annual fundraising auction.
• Any remaining areas around the pool are for standing room only - please do not set up any chairs immediately next to the pool.
• Swimmers may stand and cheer for their teammates near the shallow end of the pool while the 9 and ups are racing; this area is reserved for timers when the 8 and unders are racing

LOCATION OF POOL: Our pool is located at 375 Lindsey Drive, Martinez. Lindsey Drive is off of Alhambra Avenue and is a dead-end street at the pool. There is no visitor parking in our pool parking lot, please park on Lindsey Dr. or any of the streets off Lindsey. Please respect our neighbors’ driveways, including the fire road gate off the cul-de-sac adjacent to the pool entrance. A wagon/cart may be helpful to transport gear from your car to the pool, as it is up a small hill.

TEAM AREA: Visiting teams will be on the grassy hill above the pool area near the picnic benches. Please note that the playground is closed and off limits.

POOL NOTES: We will plan on starting all individual events for 9/10 and over as fly-over starts, except for backstroke. Due to the water depth at the shallow end of the pool, diving starts are not allowed for safety reasons. In the water starts will be used for the second and fourth swimmers in the 6U, and 7/8 relays. We ask that swimmers stay out of the starting area until the long whistle for their heat. Visitors enter the starting area from the lane 6 side of the pool.

SNACK SHACK: We will have great food available for swimmers and families to enjoy. We accept cash and Venmo. 

Visiting Team Arrival: 7:30AM Visiting Team Warm Ups: 8:25-8:50AM Meet Start Time: 9:00AM

Parking: Parking is available in our lot, on most of Boyd Road, and some surrounding streets. Please do not park on Mulberry Loop or along the edges of our driveway—your car will be subject to tow.

Team Area: Visiting team will be given the spacious back lawn behind our picnic table structure. Viewing is also available pool side. Live video feed of the meet and Time Drops available on the back screens. 

Time Drops: Meet Code will be given at the front gate for access. Screens located around the pool displaying live time drop feed.

Starts: Please note that we have a wireless timing system and 6&U and 7-8’s will be starting/diving from our blocks in the deep end of the pool. Relays will be held as usual. We will do fly over starts for 9/10’s and Up. 

Snack Bar: Our snack bar will be open with a large assortment of food and drink for purchase. Venmo and Cash accepted.
