The Livorna Dolphins are excited to announce our Third Annual Friday Night Lights Fall Invitational, to be held on Friday September 18th! This is an invitational that we’re hosting at Livorna Pool, for community building, extra chances to swim, and as a fundraiser for our team!

Jobs

• Families must work 1 x job at the meet. Job assignments can be selected upon registration. No job = no swims. You're welcome to find another volunteer to cover for your job after you sign up. All job holders must check in with the job check-in representative before the start of the meet. We encourage participation from Liv swimmers who do not wish to compete but want to volunteer their time and have fun with the team!
• More information on how many volunteers we need for each job and job descriptions are provided when you sign in for a job.
• If you are a qualified S&T judge from the 2026 season, please only sign up for a S&T job (unless full, then please sign up for another job!). We need 2 x S&T judges.

Entry Fees

• $5.00 splash fee and $5 per swim fee. There is a limit of 3 x swims per swimmer. After registration, please visit the Friday Night Lights Fees page to pay for your registration.
• NEW IN 2026: ENTRY FEES ARE WAIVED FOR THOSE WHO SIGN UP FOR A JOB WHEN THEY REGISTER FOR FALL SWIM. (If this was you, you know who you are -- we have a list, but mostly this is on an honor system!).

Guidance on what events to sign your swimmers up for:

• Swimmers will swim in the age they will swim in Summer 2027.
• Max 3 events per swimmer
• All events will be mixed gender and swum fastest to slowest and oldest to youngest (in the case of tied entry times). SWIMMERS MUST HAVE AN ENTRY TIME; manual entry times are OK but please verify with coaches that the times are reasonable. This helps ensure we keep the meet moving and swimmers are seeded with swimmers close to their speed.
• The 200 Freestyle, Event #14, is open to swimmers ages 13-18 and is a bonus event. It does not count against entry limits, but we may have to cancel this event as the meet must be over by 9pm at the very latest, no exceptions.
• 6&Us must do 25s only, ages 9 and up must do 50s+. Aside from the 100yd IM (for ages 7-19), 100yd events are for swimmers 9-18.
• For the sake of keeping the meet moving, we are encouraging the following:
  • Swimmers in the 7-8 age group to limit entries to 1 x 50 yard event (plus two other 25yd events or 100yd IM for stronger swimmers…If your new 7-8 has not done the 100yd IM before and cannot complete the event in under 2:30, please do not sign them up for the 100yd IM).
  • Swimmers in 9-10 and 11-12 age group to limit 100 yd events to two (they can still do three events, just no more than 2 x 100 yard events). i.e. Please don’t enter swimmers in these age groups into three 100 yard events.
