Last Day of Fall Clinic

Sun Oct 19 2025

Meadow Fall Meet
Meadow Swim and Tennis Club, 20 Heather Ln, Orinda, CA 94563
Start: 9:00 AM
Warm-up: 8:25 AM
End: 1:30 PM

Livorna warm up time is 825-850am in Lane 5. Races start at 9am. Check in for the first shift of timers is at 830am.

VISITING TEAM AREAS: Visiting teams may set up on the grass by the parking lot and by the playground. Please do not drop off tents the night before, and remember to take them back with you. (It’s a funny statement, but we have had to send reminders for pick up in the past.

COACH PARKING: We will reserve two parking spaces per team for your coaches in the Meadow parking lot. Those will be marked in front of the clubhouse.

SWIMMER/FAMILY PARKING: The Meadow Parking Lot & the club side of Heather Lane is designated specifically for Meadow Coaches, Visiting Coaches, and Meadow Meet Volunteers.

As with many neighborhood swim clubs, Meadow does not have an ideal parking environment. We ask meet patrons to respect our neighborhood and not park in front of fire hydrants or mailboxes (you will be towed). There are two main options for parking at Meadow: Parking on Valley Dr and parking on Martha Rd by Glorietta Elementary

  • PARKING ON VALLEY DR: Please drive with caution and at a safe speed on Valley Drive. We need everyone's cooperation in ensuring that the Valley flow of traffic does not endanger any person or property.

  • PARKING ON MARTHA RD by GLORIETTA ELEMENTARY: There is ample parking near Glorietta Elementary school on Martha Rd. You can find a dirt path from Glorietta Elementary directly to Meadow’s parking lot. Please note that the path has steps and is not lit.

Friday Night Lights Fall Invitational Meet
Livorna Pool
Start: 4:30 PM
Warm-up: 3:30 PM
End: 7:00 PM (estimated)

The Livorna Dolphins are excited to announce our Second Annual Friday Night Lights Fall Invitational, to be held on Friday September 26th! This is an invitational that we’re hosting at Livorna Pool, for community building, extra chances to swim, and as a fundraiser for our team! We will have swimmers from TEN other teams attending: Rancho Colorados, Las Trampas, Pleasant Hill Aquatics, AquaKnights, Roundhill, Indian Valley, Woodlands, Rudgear, Larkey, and Del Amigo!

MEET INFORMATION:

Please Note: There will be NO Clerk of the Course -- PLEASE MARK YOUR SWIMMERS; PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING SWIMMERS TO THE BLOCKS if they cannot line up themselves

Warm Ups

LIV’s warm ups will be from 3:30-3:45pm in lanes 1, 2, and 3.

Team Areas

LIV’s Team Area will be in the southwest corner of the pool, near where the grill was this summer. Both shade structures will have bleachers under them that anyone can use! Please avoid hanging out behind the blocks and under the pergola behind the blocks (area in green).

Events/Heat Sheets

  • Heat sheets will be published on the Livorna website (under the Events Page) and in Swimtopia app on Thursday night (9/25)
  • Time drops code is 2025
  • The timeline will be very tight due to the number of swimmers and the number of entries with β€œNo Time” (a lot of swimmers will be swimming their events for the very first time, which is part of the fun of this meet!)
  • We will use fly-over starts
  • Parents and coaches are responsible for getting little ones to the blocks on time. Livorna will have a lane clerk who will ring a bell for younger swimmers to get ready/ head to the blocks and we will try to make announcements too.
  • All events will be mixed gender and swum slowest to fastest. Swimmers with no entry time for that event will be seeded by age, youngest to oldest.
  • We will hopefully do at least one heat of deck-entered (fun!) relays if we have enough time to do so. Last year we did a β€œFootball Relay” (push the football down the pool).

Snack Shack

The Tacqueria Los Gallos truck will be on site serving Taco Plates and Quesadilla plates, and we will have other goodies, including candy and shave ice, at the LIV Snack Shack!

Raffle/Merch

  • We will have a table set up where we will be selling tickets for our raffle, which includes prizes from Hazy, Orangetheory, Handel’s Ice Cream, and Myo.
  • This table will also be where swimmers can deck enter for fun relays (time permitting we will try to do at least one fun relay at the end of the meet)
  • We are also selling t-shirts with our Friday Night Lights logo but supplies are extremely limited!

Other Reminders/Info

  • Glass is not permitted inside the pool area
  • The baby pool remains closed during all swim meets
  • The meet starts at 4:30pm (earlier than our summer weekday meets)
  • Keep an eye on your email for an upcoming message from our Jobs team that includes your job assignments!
