Head Timer (Home meets only)
- Run two back-up timer watches during each heat
- Serves as a back-up timer
Lane Clerk/Shepherd Helper (only select meets will need)
- Assist the Lane Clerk/ Shepherd to ensure all 6U and 7/8 swimmers are lined up for races; works through 7/8 free relay
Set-Up Crew (Home meets only)
- Work with Set-up Coordinator to prepare pool for home meets
Take-Down Crew (Home meets only)
- Work with Take-Down Coordinator to take down equipment at home meets and clean up pool area - you cannot do this job with another job (except set-up) because take down starts before the meet is over
Timers (Home and Away meets)
- Time swimmers at meet (Shift is for ENTIRE meet, brief relief provided)
- May be asked at meet to fill in for snack bar or other jobs as needed
Ribbons (Away meets only)
- Affix name labels to Livorna swimmer ribbons throughout away meet (after completion of each event); bring back ribbons to Livorna pool so that Ribbons & Awards Coordinators can distribute into swimmer folders
Rudgear Grounds Monitor (for Rudgear away meet only)
- Ensures team stays off landscaped hill in away team area; ensures that team stays out of diving well/diving board; ensures away team area is clean before departure
Snack Shack Volunteer (Home meets only)
- Help set-up or take-down snack bar at home meets - work during the meet the rest of your assigned time (1st shift does set-up; 2nd shift does take-down)
- Duties include opening snack bar, setting up tables, loading ice chests, and preparing condiments
- Serve food or act as cashier
- Fill in for timers or other jobs as needed
- Pancake Breakfast Volunteer: help cook, serve, clean up breakfast
- Millie's Pick Up Volunteer: Pick up team order of breakfast burritos & coffee cake at Millie's American Kitchen before the meet starts and deliver to pool. May work brief shift
- Lunch Delivery Volunteer: Pick up team order of pizza at Costco and deliver to pool to be served for lunch; may work brief shift
- Must be age 16 + to work at the snack shack/grill
Snack Shack- Grill Volunteer (Home meets only)
- Work at the Grill
- May involve food prep
- 1st Half includes set-up, 2nd half includes take-down/cleanup.
- Must be age 16 + to work at the snack shack/grill
Social Events Volunteer (various events throughout season)
- Assist event coordinator with setup, help during, and takedown of various social events and team activities
- Age Group Social Coordinator: Coordinate, plan, and execute age group social event. Create a sign-up genius and send out with 3 weeks' notice of event; must happen before DCSL. All events should be under $25 with the exception of 13+. Coordinate with Social Chair for details (6U- Park Playdate with Parents; 7/8- Mini Golf; 9/10- Pool Party; 11/12- Movies; 13+Primos & Yogurt Shack Dinner-kids pay for self)
- Buddy Night Volunteer: Each buddy night volunteer will be responsible to find a game (options will be provided). Learn the game and set up and run a station during event. Set up, decorate & clean up
- Fun Swim Relays Volunteer: Buy swim relay items, create sign-up-genius and facilitate the swim relays (held at end of last Sat home meet)

DCSL Jobs
- DCSL Setup
- Help with general meet set-up and other duties as determined by DCSL Coordinator. Friday night includes transporting tents to Acalanes HS in your vehicle. Saturday AM duties determined by DCSL Coordinator.
- DCSL Takedown
- Help clean-up Acalanes campus, pool deck, team area after DCSL (include transport of tents back to Livorna)
- DCSL Timer
- Time swimmers during the meet, 1 shift = morning or afternoon session
- DCSL Snack Tables/Coaches Lunches
- Transport Cooler Setup and keep snack table stocked throughout the meet. Obtain and deliver coach/head desk lunches.
