Junior Dolphins
Along with getting your child comfortable swimming across the pool, learning strokes, and building confidence in and around the pool, Junior Dolphins will start off with determining your child’s swim experience. The lane they are assigned to will be with other kids with similar expertise. Whether your kid is not comfortable putting their eyes in the water or they are super confident and just need extra help, the coaches are all very hands on with the kids helping them with good technique and learning the basics.
To participate in Junior Dolphins, swimmers must be willing to enter the water, be able to follow instructions, and be potty trained. Most participants are between the ages of 3 to 6 years old, but there is no age requirement or cutoff.
Junior Dolphins runs for one six week session per year, in June and July, starting the week after school gets out. The session includes a special "race" at our last Saturday home meet of the season.
Junior Dolphins 2025 will run from June 9 - July 18th, with a special "race" at our last home meet of the season, on July 19th. There will be no practice on Friday July 4th.
