*Swimmers who have been invited to participate in the two day Woodlands Invitational meet received separate communications from our Team Director. Team Set-up: The gates to the pool area will be open at 7am on Saturday morning to allow for team set-up inside the club area. Map is page 15 of the program. Spectator Viewing: There will be a combination of Bleachers and Standing Room Only areas around the pool deck. These areas are for viewing only and not for tent set-up. Parking: Parking is limited. The lot will be closed for meet officials only. There will be a swimmer drop off zone at the pool entrance, please enter via Conifer Lane and exit Dogwood Lane for drop off. Kermit's Cafe: Kermit's Cafe will be open all weekend starting with coffee, breakfast burritos, donuts, and Boichik Bagels in the morning and our grill team will be hard at work during the lunch hours. Please see the menu in the Meet Program for all of the food selections. The meet will start at 5:00 PM. Access to the facility begins at 4:00 PM. From the host team: The diving board area of the main pool and the “kiddie splash pool” near the club house will be closed during meet operations. Each team has been assigned a team location. It is the expectation of both our swim team and the Sycamore HOA that all families from both the home and visiting team clean up their assigned area prior to departing the event. NEW EXTENDED SIGN IN DEADLINE: SUNDAY JUNE 15 at 11:59 PM. If you can only make one of the days of this two-day meet, please let us know in the comments. Two flights! An A and a B flight in every individual event -- that's what makes the All City Meet unique (that and the fact that the ten competing recreational teams all hail from the City of Walnut Creek). All City brings over 1,800 swimmers and their families together to participate in a community event where each athlete has a chance to contribute to the success of their team. https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/recwcscwcsc/page/... LIV warm ups: 7:50-8:10am, Warm up lane 5 LIV racing lanes: 8-10 As in years past, families are invited to setup sunshades in their respective team areas ONLY between 6pm and 7pm on Friday, June 27th. Teams should wait in line at the gate by the diving well until 6pm at which time they will be allowed to enter. The swim complex will be locked on Friday and Saturday night. You may leave your sunshades in place overnight. Neither Walnut Creek Swim Club nor The City of Walnut Creek are responsible for theft of or damage to your belongings. Parents may not enter the race area or the clerk of the course for any ages. When finished with their races, all swimmers are asked to exit the timing area toward the South end of the pool through the area by the warm-up/warm-down lanes. You can meet your young swimmers there if you wish. See the attached info packet for more information! |

Home meet reminders: - layout of the pool deck: home side is near the entrance and the parking lot, away side is near the baby pool and Head Desk - Please do not set up personal tents or chairs immediately next to the pool - these areas are meant to be viewing areas for all. The bleachers are included in this. Please come to watch your swimmers swim, then rotate out after their race so that other families can watch their swimmers. - behind the blocks is for 15-18 swimmers, coaches and shepherds only, no parents. (If your swimmer cannot get to the blocks themselves (ie younger swimmers) please drop them off and then leave the area right after.) - To be respectful to the HOA please do not set up personal tents until 6:30pm or later on Friday nights and 3pm on Wednesdays. - The Baby Pool is always closed and off-limits during meets. |

Parking: Please do not park in the SSC parking lot, as it is reserved and closed to the visiting team. Visiting team members must park on the surrounding streets or in the Cornerstone Church parking lot across the street from SSC. Tents: Can be set up at 7am. The visiting team can setup tents on the grass and concrete next to the baby pool. Our baby pool has been filled with rocks so please make sure that no one throws them out of the area. You are welcome to use the area but we ask that you are careful. We also encourage multiple families to share tents as space is limited. Meet Staffing: Livorna volunteers will need to check in 30 minutes prior to the meet and verify that all workers are accounted for. They will need to check in with our jobs coordinators Danielle Sill and Tamara Jimenez who will be located at the computer desk. Volunteers must be 16 years or older please. Timers will need to be seated by 8:45am. Meet Information: • Squid Snack shack will be open. Cash and Venmo will be accepted. • Both teams will provide their own tents and are responsible for their setup and removal immediately following the meet. Please make sure all trash is picked-up before leaving the meet. • Your team is responsible to manage your own swimmers, team and personnel as well as their safety. • The deep and shallow end of the pool are closed and swimmers 15 and under are not allowed to swim. Please make sure that your team manages your swimmers and not allow them in the pool. • Restrooms are open but may NOT be used for changing. • Swimmers are expected to arrive and depart in their swimsuits. • Showers are not on and may not be used. • The shallow end of the pool is closed to ALL swimmers. The deep end of the pool is only open for swimmers 15-18 years old to warmup. Please manage your swimmers to abide by these rules. |

Everyone’s favorite night is back… Buddy Night! June 16th 5-7 @ Livorna pool This is the only drop off event of the year! We will match each swimmer with a buddy from a different age group that they will keep for the whole season. Buddy Night will be a fun filled night with games, team spirit and pizza - everything is included and complimentary, thanks to the money raised by our Social Fundraisers (thank you all again for supporting the Dolphins!) Please note this year we will not be asking for buddy gifts but instead focus on relationship building and team spirit. Please RSVP no later than Wednesday June 11th.
