Dolphin Talent Show Dolphin Got Talent? Sign up to participate in our annual Dolphin Talent SHOW! Talent show will take place on July 24th at the pasta feed. Please have music available on your phone the night of the show. Sign ups close on July 23rd. A set list will be posted at the event. Can't wait to see all of your great talents! Go Dolphins! —------------- Annual Pasta Feed The traditional annual Talent Show and Pasta Feed will take place at Livorna Pool on Thursday July 24th from 5:30 PM - 8 PM. This is a fun event for the entire family! Come together as a LIV community, enjoy delicious pastas and salads, watch our swimmers perform in the Talent Show (see above) and then dance like nobody’s watching to the music from our DJ! Spirit Week as we lead up to our big DCSL meet! Fun activities will be planned each day lasting 10-15 minutes after practice for each age group. Spirit Week (July 21-25)
Bake Sale On Wednesday 7/23 we will be having our team’s annual Spirit Week Bake Sale, which serves as a fun social event and a fundraiser for our other social events! We encourage everyone to show off their baking talents (or their shopping talents… ;) ) and donate items to the bake sale. And we also encourage you to show off your eating skills by purchasing each other’s goodies! We will sell every item for $2 each. |

Blackhawk Last Chance Meet Website The HOX Last Chance Meet is an open meet hosted by the HOX Swim Team. Swimmers from the region can swim to improve seed times, earn a county time or just have one more splash in the pool. The meet is fast, fun and exciting. This is an optional open meet (meaning that any swimmer that would like to swim in it can register). Swimmers can register individually, and choose which events in which they'd like to swim. DATE: Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 3:00 PM INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES: Accepted at www.fastswims.com. Entry deadline Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM or until the meet sells out. COST: $12 splash fee, $10 per event. Open lanes ONLY will be sold at the meet for an increased fee of $12 per event. NO REFUNDS or CREDITS will be given for no shows or scratches. Junior Dolphins Fun Swim

As a fun culmination to our Junior Dolphins 2025 season, we will be hosting a Junior Dolphins Fun Swim at the end of our last home meet, on Saturday, July 19th! Each swimmer will get to swim the length of Livorna Pool in a fun, but low key, meet style "race", and receive a ribbon at the other end. Swimmers do not need to be able to do this independantly - each swimmer will have a coach in the water with them throughout the "race". (I put "race" in quotations, but they will not actually be racing each other - it will be more an opportunity for the swimmers to swim with the team cheering them on! It will be in a meet-style format, so they get to do this swim with their friends swimming at the same time also, in other lanes.) In order to make sure we have enough ribbons and supplies for all participating swimmers, we would love it if you could RSVP for this Fun Swim by this Saturday, July 12th (one week before). We would love all swimmers participating in the Junior Dolphins Fun Swim to arrive at the meet at 12pm on Saturday, July 19th. They will be able to watch the end of our home meet (including Freestyle Relays, which are a fun event to watch!), and then the Junior Dolphins fun swims will begin immediately after our home meet ends (exact time varies). Home meet reminders: - layout of the pool deck: home side is near the entrance and the parking lot, away side is near the baby pool and Head Desk - behind the blocks is for 15-18 swimmers, coaches and shepherds only, no parents. (If your swimmer cannot get to the blocks themselves (ie younger swimmers) please drop them off and then leave the area right after.) - To be respectful to the HOA please do not set up personal tents until 6:30pm or later on Friday nights and 3pm on Wednesdays. - The Baby Pool is always closed and off-limits during meets. |

Parking: Parking is available in the Las Trampas pool parking lot. On Wednesday evenings, additional parking is available on neighboring streets. TEAM AREAS: Each team has been assigned a team location. The Visiting Team area includes the lawn closest to the snack shack, as well as the pool deck surrounding snack shack and BBQ. OBSERVERS: Observers may stand in areas designated for spectating. Observers are not allowed in the staging area behind the blocks where swimmers are staged prior to their races. The diving well is open to 15-18 swimmers for cool down only. The toddler pool is located in the visitor area, but is closed during meets. |

Team Set-up: The gates to the pool area will be open at 7am on Saturday morning to allow for team set-up inside the club area. Map is page 15 of the program. Spectator Viewing: There will be a combination of Bleachers and Standing Room Only areas around the pool deck. These areas are for viewing only and not for tent set-up. Parking: Parking is limited. The lot will be closed for meet officials only. There will be a swimmer drop off zone at the pool entrance, please enter via Conifer Lane and exit Dogwood Lane for drop off. Kermit's Cafe: Kermit's Cafe will be open all weekend starting with coffee, breakfast burritos, donuts, and Boichik Bagels in the morning and our grill team will be hard at work during the lunch hours. Please see the menu in the Meet Program for all of the food selections. It is the expectation of both our swim team and the Sycamore HOA that all families from both the home and visiting team clean up their assigned area prior to departing the event. NEW EXTENDED SIGN IN DEADLINE: SUNDAY JUNE 15 at 11:59 PM. If you can only make one of the days of this two-day meet, please let us know in the comments. Two flights! An A and a B flight in every individual event -- that's what makes the All City Meet unique (that and the fact that the ten competing recreational teams all hail from the City of Walnut Creek). All City brings over 1,800 swimmers and their families together to participate in a community event where each athlete has a chance to contribute to the success of their team. https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/recwcscwcsc/page/... LIV warm ups: 7:50-8:10am, Warm up lane 5 LIV racing lanes: 8-10 As in years past, families are invited to setup sunshades in their respective team areas ONLY between 6pm and 7pm on Friday, June 27th. Teams should wait in line at the gate by the diving well until 6pm at which time they will be allowed to enter. The swim complex will be locked on Friday and Saturday night. You may leave your sunshades in place overnight. Neither Walnut Creek Swim Club nor The City of Walnut Creek are responsible for theft of or damage to your belongings. Parents may not enter the race area or the clerk of the course for any ages. When finished with their races, all swimmers are asked to exit the timing area toward the South end of the pool through the area by the warm-up/warm-down lanes.
