Important information about Spring Clinic:
- Clinic is not restricted to Livorna swimmers. There are a limited number of spaces available in each age group session so register early.
- Please note that as we are more lightly staffed in the spring (as school is not yet out and high school swim has not yet ended), we will have minimal on-deck supervision during Spring Clinic. Swimmers should have at least one season of swim team experience.
- During Spring Clinic, the coaches will be focusing primarily on stroke technique. Each week will focus on a different stroke and/or a different technique (eg. streamlines, flip turns, diving), depending on age group.
- Spring Clinic Practice times (4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, for a 5 week session):
- 6 under: 4pm-4:30pm
- 7/8 : 4pm-4:45pm (note the 7/8s will share the pool with the 6 & unders for the first half hour)
- 9 and older: 4:45pm-5:30pm
- Swimmers need to be on deck ready to swim 10 minutes before practice starts.
- Clinic is held if it is raining. Practice will be canceled only if there is thunder or lightning in the forecast or if the visibility in the water is poor due to extremely heavy rain. Participants will be notified via email prior to practice in the event of a cancellation.
- Equipment:
- Swimmers should wear appropriate swimsuits (jammers or speedos for boys), caps and goggles.
- Fins: All swimmers should bring their own long-blade training fins to practice each day. Please be sure to label them!
- 9&Up swimmers also need swim paddles.
- Water: It's important to stay hydrated during practice, so please bring a water bottle to your lane.
- No refunds will be given after March 2, 2024. We do not prorate for missed days. Please email us questions about registration: [email protected]
